Boxing Day brands programme

Boxing Day Brands Hatch Programme, 1966

Two Jems at Druids Hill Bend adorn the cover of this programme for the traditional Christmas meeting in 1966. The second Jem has the coloured flash on the front as used by the factory cars at the Nürburgring, so could well be Jem Delmar-Morgan. Inside we find JDM himself driving a Repco Brabham BT8 in the Guards Trophy Race for Sports-racing Cars, and a Mini Jem GT in the British Eagle Trophy Race for Special Grand Touring Cars. Also in the latter race were John Handley in a Fletcher GT, J.D. Green in a Camber-BMC, P.W. Anslow in a Marcos Mini GT and R.M. Henderson in a Morris Minnow GT.
